ENEC and ENEC+
Certification
Independently prove the safety and quality of your products with European Norms Electrical Certification. A valuable addition to CE marking.

What is ENEC and ENEC+ Certification?
The European Norms Electrical Certification (ENEC) is a valuable addition to CE marking. In recent years, this program has become increasingly popular in the European Union.
The European Testing Inspection Certification System (ETICS) certification program includes product testing by an independent test laboratory and certification by an independent certification body.
Manufacturing facilities producing ENEC and ENEC+ certified products are monitored through initial and regular factory inspections by an independent certification body in accordance with the internationally recognized CIG program.
With ENEC and ENEC+ certification, manufacturers and importers can demonstrate that their products comply with the requirements of European standards (EN - within the framework of the Low Voltage Directive). The ENEC program constitutes a complete certification program as defined in ISO/IEC 17067:2013.
Independent Testing
Product testing by independent test laboratory
Factory Surveillance
Regular initial and factory inspections
CIG Compliance
Compliant with internationally recognized CIG program
ISO/IEC 17067:2013
Complete certification program standard
Why is ENEC+ Certification Important?
Electrical products with ENEC+ certification have been independently assessed for safety in accordance with European safety standards
Security Guarantee
Independent assessment in accordance with European safety standards
High Trust
Provides buyers with a higher level of confidence
Performance Verification
Independent verification of initial performance claims
Cost Reduction
Eliminates the need for repeated testing
Objective Assessment
Objective basis for fair comparison of products
Future-Proof
Requirements evolving with technology and standardization
Important Note
Lighting products bearing ENEC and ENEC+ marks have also been assessed for relevant performance criteria, potentially eliminating the need for duplicate performance testing.
Nexustest partners and works with Notified Bodies officially recognized by the European Testing Inspection Certification System (ETICS) to certify electrical products under the ENEC program and lighting products under the ENEC+ program.
ENEC+ Key Advantages
Evolutionary Model
As technology and standardization advance, the requirements of the mark evolve simultaneously and new performance-related elements are added
Design Robustness
Verifies initial performance claims and evaluates the robustness of product design
Tender Costs
No need for repeated product testing against variable qualification rules included in tender calls
Testing Simplification
Further cost reduction through the use of qualified manufacturer test laboratories and acceptance of test data
Bearing the ENEC+ Mark
A product bearing the ENEC+ Mark indicates that the manufacturer has chosen to have their initial performance claims independently verified.
This demonstrates their commitment to offering the best possible product to the European market.
